Detailed Itinerary

• Day 1: Nairobi – Amboseli National Park
  Safari starts by pick up by our driver/tour guide for a short introduction and briefing. Thereafter, we begin heading southeast towards Amboseli National Park, known for its stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro and large elephant herds. Enjoy the scenic countryside views along the way with a brief stop at the Emali town for refreshments. Then continue our journey through the open plains and traditional Maasai homesteads, arriving at the lodge around midday. After check-in, take some time to relax and stretch. In the late afternoon, head out for an exciting game drive through Amboseli’s iconic landscape. Return to the lodge in time for a sundowner, followed by dinner and an overnight stay.

• Day 2: Amboseli National Park Full Day
  Head out for full day of exciting game drive through Amboseli’s iconic landscape. The Amboseli National Parks is one of Kenya’s most popular parks, with a view of Mount Kilimanjaro. You will get to see Elephants, Lions, Cheetah, Buffalo etc. at the swamp area and open plains. Return to the lodge in time for dinner and an overnight stay.

• Day 3: Amboseli – Lake Nakuru National Park
  Enjoy an early breakfast, then check out from your lodge and begin the drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. Along the way, enjoy breathtaking views of the Rift Valley and traditional farmlands. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and take some time to relax before lunch. In the afternoon, set out for an exciting game drive within Lake Nakuru National Park, renowned for its abundant wildlife and birdlife. The park is a sanctuary for both black and white rhinos, as well as endangered Rothschild’s giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, and occasionally lions and leopards. The lake itself, alkaline in nature, is famed for attracting massive flocks of flamingos (seasonal) and a wide variety of other bird species. After the game drive, return to your lodge in time for dinner and an overnight stay, surrounded by the peaceful sounds of nature.

• Day 4: Lake Nakuru – Maasai Mara National Reserve
  After an early morning breakfast, check out from the lodge and depart for the iconic Masai Mara Game Reserve. The journey takes you through the breathtaking Great Rift Valley, across the rolling hills and plains of Kenya’s countryside. You will pass through Narok, a vibrant Maasai town, where you can stretch your legs and do some light shopping before continuing into the heart of the Mara. Arrive at your lodge/camp in time for check-in and a well-deserved lunch. After a short rest, head out for your first evening game drive across the vast savannahs of the Masai Mara, renowned for its rich wildlife including the Big Five, as well as cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, an abundance of game and wildlife. Return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay, as you unwind under the star-filled African sky.

• Day 5: Maasai Mara National Reserve Full Day
  After an early breakfast, depart for a full-day game drive in the world-renowned Masai Mara Game Reserve. This day offers an excellent opportunity to explore the vast savannahs and diverse habitats of the reserve, home to a remarkable concentration of wildlife. With packed picnic lunches provided, you will spend the day tracking and observing a wide range of species including the Big Five – lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino – as well as cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, and a variety of antelope species. Bird enthusiasts will also appreciate the abundance of birdlife, with over 450 recorded species in the region. Enjoy your lunch come midday at a designated picnic site within the park, with views of the surrounding plains and, potentially, wildlife grazing in the distance. In the afternoon, continue the game drive, visiting areas near the Mara River, where resident hippos and crocodiles can be seen, and where dramatic wildlife scenes often unfold. Spend the evening at leisure before enjoying dinner and an overnight stay.

• Day 6: Maasai Mara – Nairobi
  After an early breakfast, check out from your lodge and begin the journey back to Nairobi, enjoying the scenic landscapes along the way. A stop will be made en route for refreshments and optional souvenir shopping.
